This Privacy Policy explains how Worth It? ("Worth It?", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles information when you use the Worth It? website, join our waitlist, participate in our beta program, or use the Worth It? mobile application.

Depending on how you use Worth It?, we may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, account information, feedback, support messages, and information associated with items you scan or save.

When you use the mobile application, you may choose to upload or capture photographs of items for identification and valuation. We may also process information associated with those items, such as item descriptions, categories, condition, purchase price, estimated market value, sale price, and information stored in your Digital Locker.

When you join our website waitlist, we may collect your first name, email address, consent choice, signup date and time, and signup source.

Photos and AI Item Identification

Worth It? allows users to submit photographs of products and other items in order to identify them and estimate their value. Submitted images and related item information may be processed by our service providers and artificial intelligence services for the purpose of providing these features.

You should only upload images that you have the right to use. Avoid including people, private documents, financial information, or other sensitive personal information in item photographs.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• Provide and operate the Worth It? website and mobile application;
• Identify items submitted through the scanning feature;
• Generate estimated market values and selling-price estimates;
• Display relevant marketplace and retail pricing information;
• Maintain your Digital Locker and sold-item information;
• Provide, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our services;
• Respond to support requests and beta feedback;
• Send waitlist, beta, early-access, and launch communications where permitted;

Marketplace and Pricing Information

Worth It? may use third-party marketplace, shopping, and product information to help identify products and estimate market values. Searches and product information necessary to provide these features may be transmitted to third-party service providers.

Prices and valuations displayed by Worth It? are estimates and may be based on available marketplace listings, retail information, item condition, shipping costs, and other relevant information. Worth It? does not guarantee that an item will sell for any estimated amount.

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to help operate Worth It?. These providers may perform services such as cloud hosting, database storage, authentication, email delivery, application infrastructure, artificial intelligence processing, marketplace data retrieval, analytics, and other technical services.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

Advertising and Premium Features

Worth It? may offer free and premium features and may display advertisements to eligible users. If advertising or subscription features are enabled, certain device, transaction, or usage information may be processed by Apple, advertising providers, payment providers, or other service providers as necessary to provide those features.

Purchases made through Apple's App Store are processed by Apple. Worth It? does not receive your full payment-card information from Apple.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or allow information to be processed by service providers when necessary to operate Worth It?, provide requested features, maintain security, comply with law, or protect the rights and safety of Worth It?, our users, or others.
